About Our Connected Advocates

The gender in STEM community is diverse - it is a mosaic of formal and informal communities that exist across organizations and disciplines. Each of these communities shepherd and share its own body of knowledge with their own audiences.

The WSKC has created "Connected Advocates" to shine a spotlight on projects, programs and organizations in the women and STEM community.

Project/Program Connected Advocates

- leverage the WSKC to showcase their project and findings to the gender equity in STEM community.

Organizational Connected Advocates

- create an access point for its members, employees or visitors to showcase and share their mission and resources with a larger community.

NSF Gender in STEM Connected Advocates

- provide a communication channel between WSKC stakeholders and National Science Foundation Program Officers to share news and opportunities for their initiatives.
